ATLANTA
- Thanks to the contributions of many generous donors, the Atlanta
Betterment Fund is pleased to announce it will conduct its fifth
annual Atlanta Betterment Grant Program, using funds from the Endow
Atlanta endowment fund. Last year $5,000.00 in grant funds were
awarded to support Atlanta projects. This year, we are happy to
announce that up to $5,000 in grant funds will be made available for
projects that benefit Atlanta in one or more of the following ways:
|
1). Improving the quality of life for the citizens of Atlanta
2). Preserving the rich history of Atlanta
3). Enhancing the future quality of life for persons and businesses
in Atlanta
If your organization is interested in submitting a proposal for the
specific use of these grant funds, please complete the enclosed
application and return it no later than March 20, 2017. Priority
will be given to ideas that incorporate matching funds to accomplish
the project. Additional terms and conditions are found in the
attachment to this letter. Grants will be awarded on by or before
April 15, 2017.
The Atlanta Betterment Fund established the Endow Atlanta program in
2012, with a goal of raising at least $100,000 by the end of 2015.
To date over $125,000 has been donated or pledged. The Endow Atlanta
program is administered by the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation
on behalf of the Atlanta Betterment Fund.
We urge all those receiving this letter to apply for an Atlanta
Betterment Grant and join us in improving the community of Atlanta.
