LINCOLN - Ryan Boyd, son of Rod & Donna Boyd, was named March
Student of the Month for the Criminal Justice Program at the
Lincolnland Technical Education Center. Ryan is a junior at Lincoln
Community High School.
Larry Smith, instructor, selected Ryan for his overall character and
excelling in the classroom. Ryan portrays the qualities that are
needed by all criminal justice professionals; honesty, fairness and
the willingness to work hard. Ryan has a positive attitude and
leadership qualities.

Mr. Smith is hopeful that Ryan will pursue a career in Criminal
Justice as our society needs young men and women with Ryan’s
character and commitment to excellence to be the police and
prosecutors in the future. Ryan is a great student and has bright
and exciting future ahead of him in whatever profession he chooses.
Ryan has been active in soccer, track, football, student government,
NHS and was a 3 sport athlete his sophomore year.
Ryan plans to attend college but his major of study is undecided at
this time.
Ryan received a $50 from the Kiwanis Club of Lincoln who sponsors
this award and honored him at a noon luncheon.
