SIU - Lincoln Clinic now
taking appointments

[March 28, 2017] LINCOLN
- Southern Illinois University (SIU) Center for Family Medicine will
begin operation of its family medical clinic at the Logan County
Department of Public Health (LCDPH) located at 109 3rd Street, Lincoln,
on April 3rd.

The SIU clinic will offer a variety of services to include women’s
health, newborns and children, school and sports physicals,
adolescent care and adult and geriatric medicine. SIU accepts
Medicaid, Medicare and provides access to care regardless of
insurance status or ability to pay.
The program is a collaborative effort between SIU Center for Family
Medicine, Logan County Department of Public Health and Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital (ALMH). “Having primary medical care,
public health and dental services all under one roof will help
further assure the community has easy access to a full range of
treatment and prevention services,” stated Don Cavi, Public Health
Administrator. Cavi added, “This partnership can only increase the
potential for quality healthy living in the community by making
access to affordable quality healthcare much easier for many
residents in and around Logan County.”

SIU Center for Family Medicine clinic is now scheduling medical appointments. To
schedule an appointment, contact the main LCDPH number at 217-735-2317 (ext. 4)
and you will be directed to the SIU scheduling desk. SIU looks forward to
