Obituary
Betty J. Hoaglin, 90, of Lincoln passed away at
11:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St.
Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.
Betty was born on January 25, 1927 in Lincoln, the
daughter of John M. and Lula (Usherwood) Amberg. She
married Richard W. “Dick” Hoaglin on December 23,
1942 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on
February 16, 2014.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Juanita L. Bale of
Florida, and Margaret A. (Jack) Ackerson of Lincoln.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Cremation rites will be accorded by
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. A
private family burial will be held at St. Mary’s
Cemetery on a later date.

Memorial donations may be made in Betty’s name to
St. Jude Children’s hospital.
