Residents of the Christian Village Make Donations

[May 02, 2017]  The residents of The Christian Village (TCV) were very excited to present $6,000 in combined donations to four very worthy missions and ministries last week.

The money was raised through Chapel offerings, and the residents chose which missions they wanted to support. “Many of TCV’s residents feel that giving to the chapel offering is as much a part of their worship experience as singing a hymn or taking communion,” explains Chaplain Ryan Edgecombe. “Our residents are still making a difference in their community and in their world and this is one way of many.”

The missions chosen were: Lincoln Christian University scholarship fund; Korea Christian Gospel Mission in honor of the mission work of Joe and Maxine Seggelke; The Lincoln/Logan County Food Pantry; and The Evangelical Alliance Mission to Portugal in honor of the mission work of Marjorie Hawes.
