MOUNT
PULASKI - Makenzie Lock, daughter of Shawn and Melissa Lock of
Beason, has been named May - Senior-of-the-month at Mount Pulaski
High School.

She was selected for this honor based on the criteria
of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Makenzie has been actively involved during her time
at MPHS. She has been a member of the Volleyball team, Prom
Committee, Spanish Club, FCCLA, Student Council, and Spirit Squad.
Makenzie has been a consistent member of the Honor Roll. She also
earned the Varsity Volleyball Team Player Award and the Coaches
Appreciation award. She was also on the Honorable Mention of the
Tomahwak Conference All Conference Team.
Makenzie plans on attending Lincoln Land Community College next
year.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson True
Value Hardware. Monthly award winners receive a $50 award paid to the college
they plan to attend. They are also in the running for the $500
Senior-of-the-Year award sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
