[May 16, 2017]  LINCOLN -  Dorcas Nedra Hall, 95, of Lincoln, passed away May 6, 2017, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
 

Visitation:   10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home

Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home

Obituary

Dorcas Nedra Hall, 95, of Lincoln, passed away May 6, 2017, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home, Lincoln. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home with Ryan Edgecombe officiating. Burial will take place in Rushville Cemetery, Rushville.

Dorcas was born August 24, 1921, in Skylar County, Woodstock Township, the daughter of Robert E. Dean and Gladys D. (DeWitt) Dean. She married Lyle R. Hall on October 1, 1939, in Palmyra, MO. He preceded her in death November 4, 2011.

She was a member of Jefferson Street Christian Church. She was formerly employed at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Dietary.

Surviving are her children: Robert R. "Bob" (Louise) Hall of Lincoln, and Janet (Bob) Vogt of Monticello, six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren also
survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Lyle D. Hall, great-grandson Brian Hall, and sister Marjorie Howell.

Memorial donations may be made to Jefferson Street Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
