With more than 24-hours behind
them, cleanup crew workers at the derailment site in Elkhart have
made some good headway in cleaning up the terrific mess. Today LDN
was able to get better shots of the damages.

This shot shows how the loaded rail cars
twisted and damaged the heavy iron rails as they left the track.

The dollars of damage to freight inside the
railcars was also apparent, as workers loaded new, expensive wrecked
pick-up trucks and SUVs onto flatbed trucks to be hauled away.

In another area, brand new high-class cars
were lined up as though they had already made their way to the
salvage yard, which is where they will end up no doubt. |
