Obituary
Donald L. “ Chub” McCubbin , 76, of Lincoln passed
away at his home on May 1, 2017 at 3:37 p.m.
A Memorial Service for Mr. McCubbin will be held on
Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Jefferson Street Christian Church in Lincoln with
Mr. Michael Mallick and Mr. Henry Johnson
officiating.
No Visitation is scheduled.
A Luncheon will be held following the service in the
church fellowship hall.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Donald Lee McCubbin was born on August 17, 1940 in
Clinton the son of Albro W. and Elizabeth Veloa Bush
McCubbin. He was united in marriage to Barbara
Foster on March 8, 1969. She survives.
He is also survived by his sister: LaVera Perce of
California. |
Chub graduated from the Lincoln High School in 1958.
He farmed east of Lincoln for 24 years and also worked for Mitchell
Newhouse Lumber for many years.
Chub was one of the Charter Members of Jefferson Street Church.
Memorials may be made to the Jefferson Street Christian Church or
American Cancer Society.
