LINCOLN - Robert W. Wallace, 64, of
Lincoln passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1:50 p.m. at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.

Obituary
Robert W. Wallace, 64, of Lincoln passed away on
Monday, May 15, 2017 at 1:50 p.m. at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
No Services are scheduled a Celebration of Life
Service will be scheduled at a later date. Cremation
rites have been accorded.
Robert Wayne Wallace was born on June 12, 1952 in
Lincoln the son of Wayne L. and Ruth Huelskoetter
Wallace. He was united in marriage on October 17,
1987 to Carolyn Mattson. She survives.
Also surviving are his brother: Ron (Diane) Wallace
of Galva, Joan (Howard) Jackson of Bloomington.
Nieces and Nephews: Allison Becker, Marti Pierce,
Courtney Wallace, Whitney Wallace, Cody Jackson,
McKee Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister:
Donna Becker, one brother: Jerry Wallace. |
Bob graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1970. He
attended Lincoln College and Illinois State University.
He retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections as a
Correctional Officer at Logan Correctional Center.
He was a musician playing : Steele Guitar, Mandolin , violin,
and saxophone. He also was a member of the Midnight Riders Band.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's choice.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
