Lynn Allen, the Youth Director at Illinois Churches in Action
said, “Alcohol is the most widely used drug among youth. The posters are a great
way to highlight the benefits of not drinking alcohol, especially during
adolescence when the brain is still developing.”
Illinois Churches in Action is an affiliate of Illinois Church Action on Alcohol
and Addiction Problems. This statewide organization is based in Springfield and
works with schools, churches, and community groups to prevent problems of
alcohol, other drugs, and gambling.
