Don was born January 8, 1945, in Shawneetown, the
son of George and Edna Mae Goforth. He made the
decision to spend the rest of his life with Carolyn
Richardson on December 31, 1971 (second time around
to each other). He was a member of Full Gospel
Evangelistic Center. Don proudly served his country
in the United States Army. He was a truck driver for
many years. He was a jack of all trades and used his
handyman skills to help others. He hand made
equipment for the Special Education Department at
District 27; was always willing to help his family
with projects, and was always caring and giving. He
was a special man, and he will be missed by all who
