Annual Meeting to be held on Sunday,
September 15 at 5 p.m. in their main
facility in Atlanta, Illinois.
Refreshments and fellowship will
follow the meeting.

Church of Christ in Lincoln is sponsoring a
Christian Carnival on Sunday from 2:30 to
4:30 p.m. The activities will be on the
church's parking lot, at the corner of
Eighth and Maple streets.
 The
public is invited. All ages are welcome to
join in the games, snacks, songs, stories
and more fun -- and win prizes, too -- all
for free.

The carnival is sponsored by the St. John
Christian Education Ministry.

Free Prize Inside — God’s Grace
It’s hard to trust! Kids face a lots of situations where trust is
difficult! In the Bible we see that God’s people also struggle with
trust and at times would rather cower than trust, and complain
rather than obey. Just like people in the Bible we struggle with
trust and as a result we deserve nothing good from him, but God
gives grace! During May we are going to see how God extended grace
to His people throughout time and continues to extend grace to us
today! Our key verse for May is “The Lord is merciful and
compassionate” (Psalm 145:8). Take some time to talk with your kids
about these incredible Bible lessons.
