A Celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held from
3:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at The
Knights of Columbus Hall in Lincoln.

Obituary
Carolyn “Sue” S. Slater, 77, of
Lincoln passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in
her home surrounded by her family.
Carolyn was born on April 15, 1940 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Jacob and Gladys (Doty) Proctor. She
married Brad Slater on April 22, 1978 in Lincoln, he
survives.
Carolyn is also survived by her son, Tom (Teri)
Perry; her daughter, Kerri (Shane Lucas) Slater; her
grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Hayden, Hilary,
Aubrey, Mary, and Ashley. Additionally, Carolyn is
survived by her great-grandchildren, Landon, Tate,
and Sydney.

She was preceded in death by her
parents, her two sons, Randy Heinzel and Greg
Slater; two sisters; and one brother.
A Celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held from
3:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at The
Knights of Columbus Hall in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Carolyn’s name to
her family.
