Tamar Kutz of Lincoln earns
promotion at Memorial Health System

Tamar Kutz has been
promoted to administrator of ambulatory operations for Memorial
Health System. She began her new duties on Oct. 1.
In her new role, Kutz is responsible for Memorial Home Services, one
of seven affiliates of Memorial Health System, which includes home
health, home hospice, home infusion and durable medical equipment.
She is also responsible for advanced care planning and social
services, ambulatory quality, safety and outcomes, and discharge
planning. In addition, she oversees all operations improvement
activities for Memorial Physician Services, Memorial Behavioral
Health and the Memorial Weight Loss and Wellness Center.
Kutz began her career with the health system in 2010 in the medical
imaging department. She has served in various roles, including her
previous position as director of performance improvement for
ambulatory networks.
She and her husband, Todd, live in Lincoln and have two children,
Regan and Reed.

Kutz earned her Master of Business Administration
from Benedictine University in Springfield in 2013. She received a
Bachelor of Science degree in health administration from Lincoln
College in Normal in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business
management from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2005.
She earned her Lean Six Sigma master black belt certifications in
2015.
She has served on Memorial's Be Aware Women's Fair committee and
is a new member on the board of Friends of Memorial.
