A limited number of copies of the One Room School
Book have been ordered from the printer and are expected to be
available prior to Thanksgiving.
Public demand for the Days Gone By Reliving the Days of One Room
Schools in Logan County resulted in the decision by the Logan County
Genealogical & Historical Society to reprint the book.
The original version published in 2004 sold out.
The new publication will feature a flat, rather than spiral,
binding.
Days Gone By contains the stories and records provided by those who
taught and/or attended one-room schools and the Regional
Superintendent's Office which was located in Lincoln. A total of 129
schools are featured.
For more visit contact the LCG&HS, located at 114 North Chicago
Street, Lincoln.
