On Monday evening, a
small group gathered in the pavilion at Ray White Park for a
candlelight prayer vigil. The group consisting of community members
and leaders from the His Hands Outreach met to pray for concerns of
the community. During the vigil, individuals led the group through
prayer on specific topics.
Those concerns included drug abuse, disrespect for fellow man,
particularly with our youth, mental illness, depression, suicide,
sexual activity and teen pregnancy, lack of parental involvement,
and a lack of hope for the future.
