(The Sports Xchange) - The
Dallas Stars reassigned left winger Curtis McKenzie to the Texas
Stars of the American Hockey League on Saturday.
McKenzie, 26, has 11 points (six goals, five assists) in 12 games
for Texas this season. His six goals are tied for the team lead and
he is second in points.
In parts of three seasons with Dallas, McKenzie has 21 points (10
goals, 11 assists) in 92 regular-season games. Last season, he set
career bests with 16 points (six goals, 10 assists) in 53 games.
The native of Golden, British Columbia, was originally selected by
Dallas in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL draft.

The Washington Capitals reassigned forward Liam O'Brien to the
Hershey Bears of the AHL.
O'Brien, 23, has played in three games for the Capitals this season.
The Halifax, Nova Scotia, native has one goal and one assist in 17
career games with the Capitals.

The Nashville Predators assigned forwards Frederick Gaudreau and
Pontus Aberg to the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL.
Gaudreau has played in 10 games with Nashville this season, tallying
two assists and two penalty minutes.
Aberg is being sent to the AHL on a conditioning assignment. He has
two assists in nine games with the Predators. (Editing by Gene
