			LINCOLN 
			- Members of the Lincoln College 2017 Homecoming Court were 
			recognized at halftime of the Men’s Basketball game on Saturday. 
			This year’s court featured Henry Blackman, Hector Arellano, Gregory 
			Westbrook, Apeasha Ashby, Marqisha Dunn, Mya Patrick, Alexis Kennedy 
			and Makayla Suelter. Not pictured here is Gregory Westbrook.

			 King Candidates: 
			 
			Gregory Westbrook is a sophomore from Chicago, Illinois. He 
			is a member of the men’s basketball team, president of Distinguished 
			Gentleman, and a freshman seminar mentor. 
			 
			Henry Blackman is a sophomore from Memillville, Indiana. He 
			is the spirit and traditions chair for the student activities board 
			and works at the campus radio station WLNX.  
			 
			Hector Arellano is a senior from Chicago, Illinois. He is a 
			Criminal Justice major. He is the team manager for men’s soccer and 
			vice president of Chi Alpha. 
			
			  
			Queen Candidates: 
			 
			Apeasha Ashby is a junior from Denver, Colorado. She is a 
			Criminal Justice major. She is a resident assistant, member of the 
			cross country team, and is a member of Women of Worth. 
			Marqisha Dunn is junior from Zion, Illinois. 
			She is a Criminal Justice major. She is the Impact and Service Chair 
			of the Student Activities Board and president of Xi(ZI) Sigma Alpha.

			Mya Patrick is a sophomore from Zion, 
			Illinois. She is a Criminal Justice major. Mya is the President of 
			the Student Activities Board, member of the track and field team, 
			and a SOAR Leader. 
			 
			Alexis Kennedy is a junior from St. Louis, Missouri. She is a 
			Community and Human Services major. She is a resident assistant, 
			SOAR Leader, member of the Lincoln Gospel Choir, Choir, and 
			President of Women of Worth.  
			 
			Makayla Suelter is a sophomore from Peoria, Illinois. She is 
			a member of the women’s volleyball team, a cheerleader, Student 
			Activities Board, and the President of the Student Government 
			Association. 
			 
			The King and Queen were announced later during at the Homecoming 
			Dance. Marqisha Dunn was chosen to be Queen and Hector Arellano as
