							Obituary 
							Donald Smith Greenslate, 49, of 
							Lincoln, formerly of Vernon, Wis., passed away at 
							his home on Monday, October 30, 2017. 
							 
							A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 
							7, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in 
							Lincoln with Mr. Ron Otto officiating. Visitation is 
							from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service on 
							Tuesday. 
							 
							Cremation Rites have been accorded. 
							 
							Donald Smith Greenslate was born on July 4, 1968, in 
							Lincoln, the son of Jeffrey L. and Donna Willoughby 
							Greenslate. He was united in marriage with Destiny 
							Berg on November 28, 2008. She survives. 
							 
							Also surviving are his mother: Donna (Emmett) 
							Galvin; his daughters: Sierra Rain Greenslate 
							(mother: Debbie Greenslate) and Jordan Bremer; his 
							brothers: Ken Greenslate, Scott Greenslate, Gary 
							Greenslate, Benjamin Biasca, Nick Stovall, and Jake 
							Mountain Greenslate; his sister: Elizabeth Galvin 
							Little; and his step-mother: Kathy Greenslate.

							He was preceded in death by his 
							father; one brother: Timothy Galvin, and one sister: 
							Mary Ann O'Reilly. 
							Don graduated from Lincoln Community 
							High School in 1986. Don studied at Illinois State 
							University and the University of Illinois. He served 
							in the United States Army Reserve and the National 
							Guard. He was an ordained minister. 
            He enjoyed working at Edgewood golf course as a 
			groundskeeper in Vernon, Wis. He retired as a Regional 
			Vice-President from Zipsort, Inc. 
			 
			His hobbies included riding his Harley, fishing, and dining out. Don 
			is remembered for his love of nature, his "Family Guy" sense of 
			humor, and his positive & loving outlook on life.  
			 
			Memorials may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. 
			 
			Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home.
