11/15/2017 NFL Note - Arizona Cardinals Johnson, David
RB David Johnson took to social media to reveal the latest step in
his recovery from a dislocated wrist. Johnson posted a video on
Twitter Monday showing that he had his cast removed on his left arm.
"Guess what today is?" Johnson asked the camera. "The cast is off.
Finally. Already feel the range of motion coming back.

NFL Note - Carolina Panthers Samuel, *Curtis
WR Curtis Samuel will undergo season-ending left ankle surgery, the
Panthers announced Tuesday. Samuel was injured during Monday's 45-21
victory over the Dolphins when his foot was rolled on by Miami
safety Reshad Jones in the third quarter. Samuel caught a
season-high five passes prior to being injured. The second-round
pick finishes his season with 15 receptions for 115 yards. Samuel's
improvement was one of the factors for why the Panthers traded WR
Kelvin Benjamin to the Bills prior to the trading deadline.

NFL Note - San Francisco 49ers Davis, Mike
RB Mike Davis was signed by the Seahawks off the practice squad
after RB C.J. Prosise was placed on season-ending injured reserve
Tuesday.

NFL Note - Seattle Seahawks Sherman, Richard
CB Richard Sherman (Achilles) was officially placed on season-ending
injured reserve Tuesday. Sherman suffered a season-ending Achilles
injury Thursday against Arizona.

NFL Note - Seattle Seahawks Maxwell, Byron
CB Byron Maxwell signed with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday after
CB Richard Sherman was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
Maxwell was a starter on the Seahawks' Super Bowl XLIX team in 2014.

NFL Note - Washington Redskins Kelley, Rob
RB Rob Kelley was placed on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday.
He sustained a high-ankle sprain and sprained his left MCL in
Sunday's game against the Vikings. Kelley, 25, had rushed for 194
yards and three touchdowns on 62 carries this season.

NFL Note - Washington Redskins Compton, Will
LB Will Compton was placed on season-ending injured reserve Tuesday.
Compton sustained a Lisfranc sprain during Sunday's game against the
Vikings. "Reflection -- Just when I thought the adversity was
slowing down, it came back for a little more! After a defining
moment for myself, in Seattle, I realized what a blessing this year
has been," Compton wrote on Instagram. Compton had a season-high
nine tackles and his lone interception against the Seahawks on Nov.
5. The 28-year-old Compton compiled 19 tackles, one interception and
three passes defensed.

NFL Note - Los Angeles Chargers Reid, Caraun
DL Caraun Reid signed with the Redskins on Tuesday. A roster spot
was cleared for Reid when LB Will Compton was placed on
season-ending injured reserve Tuesday.

NFL Note - Philadelphia Eagles Marshall, Byron
RB Byron Marshall was signed by the Redskins off the Eagles'
practice squad on Tuesday.

NFL Note - Seattle Seahawks Prosise, *C.J.
RB C.J. Prosise' season is over after the Seattle Seahawks placed
him on injured reserve Tuesday. Prosise had been hampered by ankle
injuries all season. The 23-year-old Prosise finished the season
with just 23 yards on 11 carries. He missed five straight games
before returning in last Thursday's game against the Cardinals, only
to leave with an ankle sprain.

DL Brandon Banks was waived by the Redskins from their practice
squad on Tuesday.

NFL Note - Miami Dolphins James, Ja'Wuan
RT Ja'Wuan James was placed on injured reserve due to what is some
sort of hamstring injury. Head coach Adam Gase was vague on the
exact ailment saying it isn't truly a hamstring injury. Whatever the
case, James is done for the season and could be facing surgery.

NFL Note - Miami Dolphins Cutler, Jay
QB Jay Cutler (22 of 37, 213 yards, two touchdowns, one
interception, 82.4 passer rating) didn't have a good night. This was
after head coach Adam Gase said during the week Cutler had had
back-to-back strong outings against the New York Jets and Oakland.

NFL Note - Miami Dolphins McDonald, T.J.
S T.J. McDonald had a team-best nine tackles in his season debut,
but he also missed a crucial tackle near the goal line on RB Cameron
Artis-Payne's 12-yd touchdown run. McDonald served an eight-game
suspension before being activated Saturday.

NFL Note - Miami Dolphins Larsen, Ted
LG Ted Larsen made his season debut, but it didn't seem to make much
difference. Larsen at times seemed to struggle against DT Kawann
Short.

NFL Note - Miami Dolphins Drake, Kenyan
RB Kenyan Drake had a 66-yard touchdown run, but aside from that he
had a quiet night. Drake totaled 84 yards from scrimmage - 82
rushing and two receiving.

NFL Note - Miami Dolphins Williams, Damien
RB Damien Williams, who battled an illness all week, missing two
days of practice, totaled 29 yards from scrimmage - 19 yards rushing
and 10 yards receiving. Williams had two receptions for 10 yards and
nine carries for 19 yards.

CB Xavien Howard drew a pass interference penalty in the end zone
for the second time in two games.

NFL Note - Miami Dolphins Thomas, Julius
TE Julius Thomas had a touchdown, but the veteran was quiet for the
vast majority of the night totaling eight yards on two receptions,
including his 2-yard TD reception on a shovel pass.

RB Senorise Perry had four kickoff returns for 87 yards as he served
his second game replacing RB Kenyan Drake there. Perry opened the
game with a 29-yard return.

LB Kiko Alonso struggled in pass coverage for the second straight
game. Alonso wasn't totally responsible for TE Ed Dickson (three
receptions, 33 yards, one touchdown), but he often had the job and
didn't fare especially well.

WR DeVante Parker (six receptions, 66 yards) wasn't a factor for the
majority of the night. Parker had three receptions for 39 yards
after Miami fell behind, 31-7, in the third quarter.

WR Curtis Samuel, a rookie who also is a return specialist, exited
Monday night's game with an apparent ankle injury. The Panthers
announced Tuesday he will have surgery and be placed on
reserve/injured.

NFL Note - Carolina Panthers Van Roten, Greg
C/G Greg Van Roten was summoned to play center when Tyler Larsen
went out with a second-half foot injury. Van Roten is the
third-string center.

NFL Note - Carolina Panthers McCaffrey, *Christian
RB Christian McCaffrey added 27 receiving yards, becoming the
single-season franchise leader in receiving yards for a running
back. He has 433, which is 20 more than RB Jonathan Stewart compiled
in 2011.

S Mike Mitchell, who is dealing with ankle and Achilles injuries,
was limited in practice Tuesday.

QB Marcus Mariota was a full go in practice on Tuesday and should be
fine on his sore ankle and shoulder for Thursday night's game
against the Steelers.

TE Delanie Walker was a full participant in practice on Tuesday with
his injured wrist and should be good to play Thursday night at
Pittsburgh. Walker leads the Titans with 43 receptions.

G Quinton Spain practiced on Tuesday after missing two weeks with a
turf toe injury. Spain was a full participant in practice and is
expected to play vs. the Steelers.

LB Derrick Morgan leads the Titans with five sacks and also had two
fumble recoveries on Sunday in the win over Cincinnati.

P Brett Kern is averaging 52.2 yards per punt and has 16 touchbacks
already this season.

NFL Note - Tennessee Titans Succop, Ryan
K Ryan Succop has made 22 field goals this season, the same number
he made all of last year. Succop has already attempted 25 kicks
after attempting 24 all of last year.

WR Corey Davis has been apologetic and learned a lesson after his
fumble at the 1-yard line against the Bengals went through the end
