away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in Willimantic, CT.

Obituary
Michael D. Hardin of Norwich, CT
formerly of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday,
November 14, 2017 in Willimantic, CT.
Michael was born on June 4, 1951 in Lincoln, the son
of William and Louise (Eimer) Hardin. He married
Bear Nolan on March 16, 2010 in Willimantic, CT. She
survives in Norwich.
Michael is also survived by his children: Sherri
(Scott) Rappé, Sarah (Michael) Kendrick, Michael R.
Hardin, William J. Hardin, and Conall N. Hardin; his
siblings: Dan (Debi) Hardin, Tom Hardin, Jayne
(Peter) Hintzman, and Phil (Michelle) Hardin.
Additionally he is survived by his grandchildren:
Dallas Rappé, Hailey Rappé, Hunter Kendrick, and
Blake Kendrick.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
Michael was a longtime employee of Gunther
International. He was dedicated to customer service
in the technology and manufacturing field. He was a
hard worker and worked until his last days. He
encountered many people through his line of work and
all would describe him as charismatic. |
He was a very accomplished bowler
with many perfect games. One of his highest
achievements was holding the highest series of 858
for a number of years as well as being inducted into
the Bowling Hall of Fame at age 41.
Services for Michael will be held at 10:00 a.m. on
Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, November 21, 2017 also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services at St. Mary Cemetery
in Lincoln.
Memorial donations may be made in Michael’s name to
Ronald McDonald house or gofund Jamaica AED.
