Libby retired from working for Olan Mills. She loved traveling
and showing prints taken by Olan Mills photographers at churches and various
social organizations in the Midwest. Prior to this, she worked for Eisner
Grocery and Maxey Drug Store, both in Lincoln. Libby and
Lloyd enjoyed living on the water. From Lake Mattoon
in Neoga to the shore of the Illinois River in East
Peoria, they relished visits from relatives and
friends to their waterside homes. They loved
beachcombing and wintering in Florida and along the
East Coast.
We would like to acknowledge her gentle caregivers
at Reflections Memory Care in Washington, and
Transitions Hospice.
Services are entrusted to Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home and will begin at 1 pm on Monday,
November 20, 2017, at the funeral home with
visitation the hour preceding services. Interment
will follow at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made in Libby’s name to the American Cancer Society.
