Mount Pulaski Girls Basketball finishes 3rd in the Turkey Tussle

The Mount Pulaski Lady Hilltoppers finished in third place in the Turkey Tussle Tournament that concluded in Clinton over the weekend.

Mount Pulaski defeated Tri-Valley on Thursday night 61-31 as Skylar Hayes poured in 23 points and had 6 assists. Morgan May had 8 points and 13 rebounds versus Tri-Valley. Savannah Moore also hit double figures with 10 points.

Mount Pulaski then defeated Olympia 48-29 on Saturday night with Hayes scoring 13 points and May tossing in 12 points. Hayes also had 6 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocked shots. Moore had 9 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals versus Olympia.

Junior Skylar Hayes made the All-Tournament Team scoring 80 points in the tournament.

The Lady Hilltoppers have a 3-1 record to start the 2017-18 season.
