The Crusaders of Carroll Catholic/New
Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Schools traveled to Easton on
Monday evening to play Illini Central.
In the 7th grade contest, the Crusaders lost by a score of
28-20.
Leading the scoring was Darren Stevens with 8
and Porter Schwantz with 6. Parker Graue, Peyton Schwantz and
Jarret Evers scored 2 each.
The 8th grade Crusaders won in overtime by a score of 48-31,
outscoring the Cougars 17-0 in overtime.
Andrew Graue led the team in scoring with 15,
followed closely by Drew McCray with 14 and Trent Koehler with
11. Hayden Allen scored 6 and Darren Stevens tallied 2. The 8th
grade team improves its record to 7-3.
