He played his first seven seasons with the Raiders before joining the Cowboys. "I have been extremely privileged to play in the League a long time and now that time for me is done," McFadden said in a statement. McFadden was the fourth overall pick of the 2008 draft. He rushed for 5,421 yards and 28 touchdowns and also had five receiving scores.

NFL Note - San Francisco 49ers Garoppolo, Jimmy

QB Jimmy Garoppolo will make his first start since joining San Francisco when the 49ers play the Chicago Bears on Sunday, ESPN reported Tuesday. Garoppolo was acquired by the 49ers in a trade with the New England Patriots last month. He made his debut with his new team on Sunday in mop-up duty after Beathard left with a leg injury. Garoppolo entered the game with just 1:07 remaining, but had enough time to throw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Louis Murphy in the 24-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

NFL Note - Oakland Raiders Crabtree, Michael

WR Michael Crabtree had his two-game suspension reduced to one game for his involvement in a fight with CB Aqib Talib during Sunday's game. The two players, who were ejected from Sunday's game won by the Raiders, appealed their two-game suspensions and the appeals were heard Tuesday.

NFL Note - Baltimore Ravens Humphrey, *Marlon

CB Marlon Humphrey has a minor leg injury and was limited to just seven snaps Monday against the Texans. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh did not disclose any more details, but the injury does not appear to be serious. Humphrey was the team's first-round pick in this year's draft and has emerged as a top playmaker in the secondary.

-----------------------------------------------

NFL Note - Baltimore Ravens Mosley, C.J.

LB C.J. Mosley was able to play Monday against the Texans despite missing practice time with an ankle injury. Mosley suffered a stinger in the second half, but was cleared to return. He leads the team with 95 tackles.

NFL Note - Baltimore Ravens Perriman, Breshad

WR Breshad Perriman was active Monday night against Houston after he was a healthy scratch the previous game. Perriman was the team's first-round pick in 2015, but has been mostly inconsistent. RB/KR Michael Campanaro, who ranks second in the league in punt-return average, was inactive after not appearing on the injury report last week. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh confirmed Campanaro was a healthy scratch because the team wanted to activate other receivers that can get downfield. "Nothing that 'Camp' did or didn't do. We're healthy now (at the receiver position), so we have to make some tough decisions," Harbaugh said.

S Tony Jefferson has been stellar this season. However, his teammates chided him for being the only player without an interception in the secondary. That changed Monday night when he got his first interception with the Ravens in the second quarter that set up a touchdown. "It just feels so good to accomplish it in a game, especially a tight one and a must-win when we are in the race for the playoffs," said Jefferson, who was signed as a free agent in the offseason.

S Anthony Levine, a six-year veteran, earned the first interception of his career in the fourth quarter Monday night against the Texans. Levine has been a key player on special teams.
