LINCOLN
On
Thursday evening, the city of Lincoln hosted its annual community
night, moving the venue this year to Postville Park on Fifth Street.
The event included food and fun for families as the Lincoln Police
Department served up hot dogs, chips, and drinks, while the City
Clerk staff provided mounds of homemade cookies. The Lincoln D.A.R.E.
provided an inflatable obstacle course for the kids, and several
city department vehicles were made available for exploring.

The evening saw a large turnout of city officials including Mayor
Seth Goodman, Aldermen and alderwomen Michell Bauer, Kathy Horn,
Jeff Hoinacki, Ron Keller, Steve Parrott and Tracy Welch. There were
also several city staff on hand including several members of the
Lincoln police, fire and street departments and staff from the
clerk's office.

Wes Woodhall, Street Superintendent Walt Landers, and City Administrator Bob

meal and taking the opportunity to visit with city officials while kids placed
most of their focus on the obstacle course.
