Fitz-A-Palooza fundraiser to be held Saturday, October 21st

[October 16, 2017]   LINCOLN - The first annual Fitz-A-Palooza will be held on Saturday, October 21st at the Knights of Columbus to support Joni Marten and remember Joe Fitzpatrick.

Joe lost his battle to colon cancer in April and Joni has had multiple surgeries and countless chemo sessions for the past four and a half years. The event will be held to raise money and awareness for colon cancer – one of the top three cancer killers.

Proceeds will support the Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA).

A 5K walk at 10:30 a.m. will kick-off the event. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. If you would like to participate in the walk, we ask that you make a $25 donation to the Colon Cancer Alliance at www.lincolncolonwalk.com.

Enjoy a cookout, euchre tournament, kids activities and a raffle in the Knights of Columbus parking lot directly following the walk.
