10/22/2017 NFL Note - Miami Dolphins Cutler, Jay
Miami Dolphins QB Jay Cutler left Sunday's game against the New York
Jets due to a chest injury. Cutler, who tossed two touchdown passes
in the first half, was hit hard by Jets linebacker Jordan Jenkins
and left the game in the third quarter. Matt Moore replaced Cutler
at quarterback.

NFL Note - Buffalo Bills McCoy, LeSean
RB LeSean McCoy tallied 122 yards (91 rushing, 31 receiving) and two
touchdowns on Sunday.

NFL Note - New York Giants Goodson, B.J.
New York Giants starting middle LB B.J. Goodson suffered an ankle
injury at the end of the second quarter of Sunday's game against the
Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium. It was unclear what happened to
Goodson, who was injured on the Seahawks' final drive of the first
half, but he immediately came off the field and went into the locker
room for evaluation. He was ruled out to start the third quarter.
With Goodson out, Keenan Robinson took over making the calls in the
defensive huddle.

NFL Note - Buffalo Bills Hauschka, Steven
PK Stephen Hauschka made three field goals, including the
game-winner from 30 yards with 14 seconds remaining Sunday. Earlier
in the game, Hauschka tied an NFL record by making his 12th
consecutive field goal of at least 50 yards. Hauschka, who spent the
past six seasons in Seattle, matched the record held by Blair Walsh,
Robbie Gould, Justin Tucker and Matt Prater. He also became the
fourth active kicker to score a point in 100 consecutive games.

WR Deonte Thompson caught four passes for 107 yards Sunday. Thompson
signed with the Bills on Thursday after he spent the first five

QB Jameis Winston started at quarterback Sunday for the Buccaneers
after being listed as questionable with a shoulder injury. Winston

outburst came in the sixth game for the rookie, who broke his leg
one year ago to the day as a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

QB Carson Palmer broke his left arm in the second quarter Sunday and
did not return. Arizona coach Bruce Arians said Palmer, 38, would
undergo surgery soon after the team returns from England and will
miss eight weeks. Palmer was having one of his better seasons. His
1,856 passing yards going into the game was the second-most in the
NFL, trailing only New England's Tom Brady. Palmer's 122 passing
yards Sunday moved him into 12th all-time in NFL passing yards, with
46,247 career yards.

Drama led up to the game-winner. Succop, who has made 55 straight
field goals inside 50 yards going back to 2014, kicked the ball a
split second after the two-minute warning in overtime stopped the
clock. His kick was wide left. He made an adjustment and the
game-winner was perfect.

will be bumps in the road," Brees said. "There will be bits of
adversity, but keep your eyes on the prize and focus on the process

a big change and get us going in the direction that we want to go.

QB Joe Flacco was sacked five times Sunday. Flacco finished 27 of 39
for 186 yards, and he hit Chris Moore for a 13-yard touchdown on the

streak of nearly 11 consecutive quarters without a Baltimore
touchdown.

first non-kicker or punter to make at least two PATs in a game since
former Houston linebacker and current Green Bay general manager Ted
Thompson went 4-for-4 in 1980. "That was fun," Heath said. "That was

Elliott said.

to his ribs, returned with three 9-yard runs on a first-half drive
that led to a field goal. "It's definitely great to be back out
there with the guys," he said after finishing with 31 yards on six
carries and also catching a pass.
