Obituary
Patty Jo Hunt, 78, of Lincoln, passed away
October 5, 2017 at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday, October 10,
2017 at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Wednesday, October
11, 2017 also at the funeral home with Henry Johnson
officiating. Burial will follow in Harristown
Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
Patty was born September 25, 1939 in Blue Mound,
IL., the daughter of Cleatus and Myrtle (Young)
Clements. She retired from Logan Correctional after
several years of service. She was formerly employed
at Lincoln Developmental Center.
Patty loved to write. She always enjoyed a good
book and liked to listen to music. She collected ink
pens. |
Survivors include: son Timmy Hunt, daughter Tracy Hunt, grandchildren: Dallas
Hunt, Dalton Hunt, and Toni Hunt, great grandchildren: Tylayah Hunt, Kaliyah
Leone, and Isaac Hunt, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, infant son Samuel,
and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Tracy Hunt and will be
accepted at the funeral home.
