LINCOLN
- Grace Lutheran Church, 201 South College St., Lincoln, IL 62656,
has moved into their new Church Building and will have a Church
Dedication Service on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.

Grace Lutheran Church was established and formed
as a mission Congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (ELS) in
2013. Grace has been active specifically in outreach to veterans,
and those in the Lincoln area suffering various addictions. The
group formerly had been meeting at the Maple Club but acquired the
Lincoln Hill Church in August of this year. They have restored and
improved the building, making it wheelchair accessible, and
restoring the building to a more modern look and design.
The Opening and Dedication coincides with the 500th
Anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation in which Martin Luther
nailed 95 theses to the Church door in Wittenberg and began
reformation in the Church, as well as marks the 100th Anniversary of
the ELS.
