LINCOLN
- Officers of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department stopped Sunday,
August 20th to support the fundraiser, sponsored by St. John United
Church of Christ at Culver’s to help place Narcan Kits in all the
police squad cars of Logan County as part of the goal of having kits
available to Fires Responders of a suspected overdose.
Elaine Aue, owner, gave 10% of the sales that evening which was
$205.90 toward the purchase of Narcan Kits for First Responders of a
suspected overdose. An additional $67.06 was given in donations,

Other county responders have access through county
budget to keep supplies available to them.
It was noted that several lives have been affected because of the
kits being available in police cars.
The community is to be commended for their response and support
which now totals over $3439.96 for the kits and an additional
$281.81 for treatment assistance programs. This money will be given
to the Logan County Health Department which co-ordinates the
distribution of the Narcan kits to the local Law Enforcement.
