[September 01, 2017]  LINCOLN  - September is Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and celebrate the people who recover. The month is sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

On September 16, several of the Community Health Collaborative Opiod Task Force members and partners will help present “Hidden In Plain Sight”.

This LIVE and INTERACTIVE display is for adults only. The interactive experience allows participants to walk through a teenage bedroom to test their observation skills and knowledge of current trends.

It will provide parents reminders and tips about the signs of substance abuse that may be hiding in plain sight.

The event will take place at the ALMH Market at the Logan County Fairground in Lincoln.
