The Mount Pulaski JV dropped the first set to
the Cardinals 23-25 before winning set two 25-16 and finally
taking the third set 15-4.
The Mount Pulaski Varsity lost their first set 24-26 and then
edged out the Cardinals 25-22 in set two.
The Hilltoppers took the third set 25-18.
Junior Skylar Hayes led the Hilltoppers with 15 kills. Sophomore
Paige Stewart came up big in the win with 9 kills and 4 blocks.
Junior Abigail Fitzpatrick had 8 kills and 26 digs.
Mount Pulaski hosts Greenview at home Thursday night.
The evening will kick off with a Spaghetti Dinner from 5 p.m.
until 6:30 p.m. featuring spaghetti, salad, dessert and a drink
for a donation. The money raised will go to benefit the family
of Evan Connor.
The JV match begins at 6 p.m. with Varsity to follow.
