Parenteau, P.A.
F P.A. Parenteau accepted a professional tryout with the Detroit
Red Wings, his agent Allan Walsh announced on Wednesday.
Parenteau collected 13 goals, 15 assists and 35 penalty minutes
in 67 games last season with the New Jersey Devils and Nashville
Predators.

NHL Note - Calgary Flames Bennett, Sam
F Sam Bennett signed a two-year, $3.9 million contract with the
Calgary Flames on Wednesday. Bennett recorded 13 goals and as
many assists to go along with 75 penalty minutes in 81 games
last season. The 21-year-old Ontario native also tallied twice
in four playoff games last season for the Flames, who are swept
by the Pacific Division champion Anaheim Ducks in the first
round. Selected with the fourth overall pick of the 2014 draft,
Bennett has collected 31 goals, 32 assists and 112 penalty
minutes in 159 career contests with Calgary.
