People v. Eric Coulter, 17 CF 80: On September 5, 2017, Associate
Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea agreement
sentencing Kenneth Watson to 6 years in the Illinois Department of
Corrections for Burglary, a class 2 felony. The case arises out of a
June 11, 2017 incident where Watson entered Bella’s Bistro in Lincoln,
Illinois with his shirt over his face demanding money.
People v. Jacob Glover, 17 CF 86: On September 5, 2017, Associate
Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea agreement
sentencing Jacob Glover to 4 years in the Illinois Department of
Corrections for Unlawful Use of Weapon by a Felon and Unlawful
Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver, each a class 2 felony.
The case arises out of a Lincoln Police investigation which concluded
with a search of Glover’s residence at Room #211 at the Budget Inn in
Lincoln. During the search, police discovered approximately 590 grams of
cannabis and a 9mm firearm.
People v. Sean Dunlap, 17 CF 49: On September 5, 2017, Associate
Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea agreement
sentencing Sean Dunlap to 3 years in the Illinois Department of
Corrections for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Manufacturing
Materials, a class 2 felony.

The case arises out of a Logan County Sheriff’s Department
investigation at 1540 N. College in Beason, Illinois. Sheriff’s
Deputies conducted a search of the premises and discovered items
that are used in the production of methamphetamine.
People v. Archie Brown, 17 CF 76: On September 5, 2017,
Associate Judge William Workman accepted a fully negotiated plea
agreement sentencing Archie Brown to 3 years in the Illinois
Department of Corrections for Unlawful Possession of
Methamphetamine, a class 3 felony. The case arises out of an
Illinois State Police traffic stop on Interstate 55 in Logan County.
During the search of the vehicle driven by Brown, Illinois State
Troopers discovered less than 5 grams of methamphetamine. Brown is
from Arizona.
