DT Vincent Valentine (knee) was inactive
against the Chiefs after missing practice all week leading up to
the game.
RB C.J. Spiller and OL Jordan Devey received their release from
the Chiefs hours before Thursday night's game. The team avoided
guaranteeing the contracts for both veterans for the 2017
season. The Chiefs expect to re-sign both players next week.
QB Connor Shaw was released by the Chicago Bears on Friday.
Shaw, who signed with the Bears in July 2016, did not play in a
regular-season game with the team. Shaw was on injured reserve
after being hurt in the preseason.
RB Ka'Deem Carey was released by the Chicago Bears on Friday.
Carey, 24, had 111 carries for 443 yards and two touchdowns in
37 career games since being selected by Chicago in the fourth
round of the 2014 draft. Carey was on injured reserve after
being hurt in the preseason.
OL Earl Watford was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars on
Friday.
