Nationals 3, Phillies 2

Stephen Strasburg allowed two hits in eight scoreless innings as the Washington Nationals edged the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 Sunday and clinched the National League East title.

Strasburg (13-4) extended his scoreless streak to 34 innings, and the Nationals wrapped up the division when the Atlanta Braves beat the Miami Marlins. He struck out 10 and set a franchise record for the longest scoreless streak.

Trea Turner hit a solo homer for Washington, while Victor Robles and Adrian Sanchez added RBI doubles.

Nick Williams hit a two-run single in the ninth inning for Philadelphia, but Ryan Madson closed out his first save for the Nationals.

Indians 3, Orioles 2

Roberto Perez and Francisco Lindor hit back-to-back home runs in the sixth inning, and Trevor Bauer made a quality start as Cleveland beat Baltimore to extend its winning streak to 18 games.

The Indians tied the 1953 New York Yankees for the fifth-longest winning streak in major league history.

Bauer (16-8) pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits with seven strikeouts and no walks. Cody Allen pitched the ninth inning to pick up his 26th save.

Rockies 8, Dodgers 1

Mark Reynolds hit a grand slam as Colorado handed Los Angeles its 10th consecutive loss while completing a four-game series sweep.

Nolan Arenado hit his 32nd homer and Trevor Story added his 21st, helping Colorado outscore Los Angeles 28-11 in the series.

Alex Verdugo hit his first career homer for Los Angeles, which has lost 10 straight for the first time since 1992, when it finished with 99 losses.

Yankees 16, Rangers 7

Aaron Judge hit a pair of homers as New York outslugged Texas.

Judge hit his 40th homer in a six-run fourth and hit No. 41 in the sixth. He is the second rookie with at least 40 homers in a season, joining Mark McGwire, who hit 49 with Oakland in 1987.

Robinson Chirinos homered for Texas while Shin-Soo Choo drove in two runs.

Brewers 3, Cubs 1

Zach Davies pitched seven strong innings for his major-league-leading 17th win, and Travis Shaw launched a tiebreaking two-run homer in the sixth inning as Milwaukee beat Chicago.

The Brewers completed a three-game sweep of the defending World Series champions at Wrigley Field and closed to two games behind NL Central-leading Chicago. Milwaukee outscored the Cubs 20-3 in the series as Davies (17-8) allowed a run and seven hits.

Rene Rivera's RBI double accounted for Chicago's lone run.

Royals 11, Twins 3

Eric Hosmer had four hits, including two in a six-run second inning as Kansas City routed Minnesota.

Brandon Moss homered and drove in four runs for Kansas City while Whit Merrifield and Alex Gordon added RBI doubles.

Minnesota's Bartolo Colon (6-10) allowed six runs and six hits in 1 2/3 innings. Kansas City left-hander Jason Vargas (15-10) pitched five innings for a career high in victories.

Cardinals 7, Pirates 0

Yadier Molina hit a three-run homer and tied a career high with five RBIs as St. Louis blanked Pittsburgh.

Michael Wacha (12-7) pitched eight innings as St. Louis won for the ninth time in 11 games and moved a season-best seven games over .500.

Pittsburgh's Ivan Nova (11-13) allowed five runs in five innings.

Rays 4, Red Sox 1

Wilson Ramos and Lucas Duda hit solo homers as Tampa Bay beat Boston.

Alex Cobb (11-9) allowed one run on four hits in five innings as Tampa Bay avoided a three-game sweep.

Christian Vazquez drove in the lone run for Boston.

Angels 5, Mariners 3

Justin Upton hit the tiebreaking two-run double and scored on a wild pitch in the eighth as Los Angeles beat Seattle.

Mike Trout and Luis Valbuena homered for the Angels, who are one game behind the Minnesota Twins for the second AL wild card.

Jean Segura homered and Ben Gamel hit an RBI triple for Seattle.

Diamondbacks 3, Padres 2

J.D. Martinez homered twice as Arizona edged San Diego.

J.D. Martinez has 21 of his 37 homers since being acquired from the Detroit Tigers in a July trade. Paul Goldschmidt added his 34th homer as Arizona won for the 14th time in 16 games.

Arizona's Robbie Ray (13-5) allowed two runs in six innings while San Diego's Luis Perdomo (7-10) gave up three runs in six innings.

Braves 10, Marlins 8 (11 innings)

Lane Adams hit a two-run homer in the 11th inning as Atlanta beat Miami.

Adams homered Vance Worley as Atlanta walked off against the Marlins for the fifth time this season. Adams' homer also helped the Nationals clinch the NL East Division title.

J.T. Realmuto had four hits and Christian Yelich added three hits for Miami.

White Sox 8, Giants 1

Jose Abreu hit two homers a day after hitting for the cycle, and Chicago routed San Francisco.

Abreu hit his 30th and 31st homers of the season as the White Sox outscored the Giants 21-2 in the final games of the three-game series.

Carson Fulmer (2-1) allowed one run and three hits in six innings. San Francisco's Madison Bumgarner (2-8) was tagged for a season-high six runs and 10 hits in five innings.

Reds 10, Mets 5

Tucker Barnhart drove in five runs as Cincinnati beat New York.

Barnhart helped the Reds score eight unanswered runs in the final three innings by hitting a tiebreaking two-run double in the eighth and a three-run homer in the ninth.

Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom allowed two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out 10 over six innings.

Blue Jays 8, Tigers 2

Teoscar Hernandez homered and drove in five runs as Toronto beat Detroit.

Darwin Barney matched a career high with four hits while J.A. Happ pitched six strong innings as Toronto won consecutive games for the first time since Aug. 16-17.

Ian Kinsler hit a two-run homer for Detroit.

Athletics 10, Astros 2

Oakland right-hander Kendall Graveman outdueled Houston star left-hander Dallas Keuchel to helps the A's complete a four-game sweep.

Graveman (5-4) allowed one run on five hits and two walks in six innings, while Keuchel (12-4) gave up four runs, six hits and four walks in 5 2/3 innings. All four of those walks came in the sixth inning, when the A's scored three times to take a 4-1 lead.

Ryon Healy, Boog Powell, Matt Chapman and Matt Olson all went deep for Oakland.
