Friday was
Grandparent Day at Little Lambs Daycare Center in Lincoln. During
the morning, children enjoyed sharing their learning experiences
with their grandparents. The group played games together, drew
pictures, and did other fun activities such as finding colors and
identifying them. In one instance, the children went about their
classroom collecting items that were colored green and bringing the
pieces to grandma or grandpa for safe keeping.
Outside at playtime, the yard was a flury of activity as youngsters
and their older guests played various games.
Around the school, inside and out, the sound of happy children was
almost overwhelming, as kids laughed and squealed while playing with
their grandparents.
At lunch time everyone enjoyed a cheesburger lunch.

their family members, and looks forward to each event that draws
children together with their older family members to create bonds
that will stay with them well into their formative years.
