Coach Herron said, “It was really a tough day for racing. The
temperature played a big part in their overall performance. We were
pleased how they fought through the high temperatures and executed a
better race plan than in the previous meet. This will really help
them as we continue to have meets with very strong competition. They
have been putting the work in and it is paying off.”
The Cross Country team will be in action again this Friday at the
36th Brissman-Lundeen Invite hosted by Augustana College. The
women’s race will begin at 3:00 and the men’s race will start at
3:45.
