The Lincoln Railers Volleyball Team hosted Charleston on Tuesday
night in an Apollo Conference matchup. The Railers Varsity improved
their record to 12-4 overall and 4-1 in the conference as they
defeated Charleston 25-15 and 25-21.
Lincoln Head Coach Kyle Caldwell said postgame, "Tonight we took
care of business. It was not our cleanest match, but we understand
that in this tough conference the goal is to survive and advance. It
doesn't have to be pretty, but we have to take care of business
every night. We will continue with that mindset for our game
Thursday at home against Taylorville.”
The Lincoln JV team lost to Charleston 28-26, 15-25 and 19-25.
The Lincoln Freshmen defeated Charleston in two sets, 25-22 and
25-20.
