Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at her home. |

Obituary
Patricia A. Tibbs, 60, of Atlanta, passed away at
4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017, at her home.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Sept.
7, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at the Atlanta Cemetery.
Pastor Steve Owens will officiate.
Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery.
Patricia Ann Loy was born July 4, 1957, in Lincoln,
the daughter of William B. and June M. Cavanaugh
Loy, Sr. She married James Wayne Tibbs on July 3,
1975. He survives.
Patty is also survived by their children: Lori
(Anthony) Zimmerman of Emden and Mandy (Jared) Owens
of Lincoln; six grandchildren; three brothers:
William B. Loy, Jr. of Atlanta, Tom Loy of Atlanta,
and Darren (Wanda) Loy of Bloomington; and one
sister: Pam (Frank) Fosdick of Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one
sister, Peggy Loy.
Patty had been employed at the Atlanta grocery store
for many years.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad or
the Atlanta Fire Department.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley
Funeral Home of Atlanta.
