2017 James D. Strauss Worldview Lectureship on October 3rd and 4th

[September 28, 2017]  LINCOLN - Lincoln Christian University is pleased to announce that the 2017 Strauss Lectureship will be presented by Dr. Harold A. Netland, Professor of Philosophy of Religion and Intercultural Studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Dr. Netland will address the growing issue of religious pluralism in a series of three lectures entitled, “The Plausibility of the Gospel in a Pluralistic World.”

Tuesday, October 3rd

  • Lecture 1: “Responding to Religious Diversity” — 9:30 a.m., Earl C Hargrove Chapel
     

  • Q&A Session — 12:00 p.m., Restoration Hall (Dowling Auditorium)
     

  • Lecture 2: “Why Jesus?” — 7:00 p.m., Restoration Hall (Dowling Auditorium)

Wednesday, October 4th

  • Lecture 3: “A Plausible Gospel for a Skeptical World” — 9:30 a.m., Restoration Hall (Dowling Auditorium)
