			 LTS is a
workshop lead by Section 9 officers including our own Molly Schempp
			who serves as the Treasurer.
			Students
from all over the section were split into five groups rotating
through stations representing five core characteristics. The Section
9 officers believed these traits were the most important in building
leadership skills: Collaboration, Trust, Knowledge, Communication,
			and Relationships.

Each station had a game that focused on that specific
			characteristic.

			Olympia FFA members:
Molly Schempp, Dawson Banister, Josh Kindred, Karmen Glueck and
others work on a group project during LTS.
			During
the trust station, one student from the group was asked to lay on a
mat while the rest of the group had to pick them up each using only
			2 fingers.

This game helped the student laying down to trust that the rest
of the group would pick him/her up safely and set her down safely.

Olympia Chapter President, Karmen Glueck reflected on the event
saying, “I believe it was a great experience for our FFA members to attend LTS
because we learned about multiple communication activities that we can take back
to our chapter meetings. This will help a great deal since group communication
is key!”

Leadership Training School was an awesome chance to grow as a leader while
getting to know students from other schools.
