- Mary Ellen Frye, 58, of Lincoln, passed away at 11:25 a.m. on
Monday, September 25, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center in
Springfield.

Obituary
Mary Ellen Frye, 58, of Lincoln, passed away at
11:25 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Memorial
Medical Center in Springfield.
Mary was born on December 21, 1958 in Lincoln, the
daughter of Thomas Eldon and Helen (Wade) Frye.
Mary is survived by three brothers; Robert A.
(Robin) Frye of Lincoln, Charles L. Grimsley, of
Springfield, and John Grimsley, of Lincoln; lifelong
friends Lester W. Graber and John L. Harlow.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two
sisters, Kandy Ann Frye and Helen J. Taft and her
half brother, Joseph John Grimsley.

Mary was a member of the Open Arms Christian
Fellowship.
Services for Mary will be 11:00 a.m. Friday,
September 29, 2017 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Larry Crawford
officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to
the service (10:00-11:00 a.m.) Burial at Zion
Cemetery, Lincoln, will follow the service.
Memorials may be made in Mary’s name to Robert Alan
Frye (brother).
