LINCOLN
Congratulations to the
students of Lincoln Community High School who make up the 2017-18
RailerThon. These students had a goal to raise $15,000 this year and
they exceeded that goal by a long shot. Yesterday they presented
HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital with a check for $25,000.
Congratulations again to these awesome young people who dedicated
countless hours in a variety of ways through the many fundraising
efforts it took to raise this money. These students are making a
difference in the lives of others and it’s no doubt they will
continue to do so in the future.

According to the RailerThon website, RailerThon is a year-long nonprofit
fundraising organization comprised of a group of students who work throughout
the year to raise awareness and funds for St. John’s Children’s Hospital in
Springfield. The group began as a part of The Miracle Network Dance Marathon
(the parent organization of RailerThon), a movement benefiting Children’s
Miracle Network Hospitals.
