Lincoln YMCA offers Flag Football program for area youth

LINCOLN
The Lincoln Area YMCA
is now offering a NEW and IMPROVED flag football league!
We understand that parents are concerned about the physical contact
of football and may want their child to wait to start playing the
sport.
With this flag football league your child can learn the game
football, while not enduring the heat, weight, and hitting of
wearing tackle football pads.
In our flag football league your child will learn the basic rules
and fundamentals of football, without the physical contact of tackle
football.
Whether you’re new to the game or just started playing, this league
is a perfect introduction to the game!
The YMCA Flag Football League can also be a head start before the
tackle season! Get your hands on the ball a month before everyone
else and fine tune your skills!

The League runs from May 30th – June 30th. Teams will practice one a week, and
play games on Saturday morning.
Children the age 3.5 through 5th grade can participate , and teams will be
divided appropriately based off of experience, age, and grade!
The league fee is $35, and you must be a YMCA member. Memberships cost $37 and
run the calendar year.
Games and practices will be at Lincoln FC Complex.
