Mount Pulaski girls softball blanked by LeRoy 17-0

The Mount Pulaski girls softball team has had an uphill battle all season. The program is just in its second year at the high school level (after a lengthy hiatus) and without a junior high program to pull from, the team has seen plenty of ups and downs. On Saturday the Lady Hilltoppers record fell to 0-6 on the season as LeRoy handed the ladies a 17-0 loss.

Olivia Cooper was the losing pitcher. Cooper and Emma Aylesworth both went 1-for-2 at the plate for the Mount Pulaski offense.

Mount Pulaski will play at Meridian today at 4:30 p.m.
