Heartland Community College Foundation is looking for
players and sponsors for the Lincoln Scholarship Scramble Golf
Outing on Saturday, May 11 at Lincoln Elks Country Club (1020 1520th
St., Lincoln, IL).
The golf outing raises scholarship funding for Logan County students
attending or planning to attend Heartland Community College.
It is an exciting time for the Lincoln Campus at Heartland Community
College. HCC has committed to invest in Lincoln and Logan County by
moving to a larger facility this summer. Areas of growth that the
College will be focusing on include adult education, a certified
nursing assistant program (CNA), expanded continuing education
classes, and, eventually, a technology-based Agriculture degree. The
development of these new programs and courses will provide
opportunities for the HCC Foundation to assist even more Logan
County students with scholarship assistance.
There are a wide variety of Foundation scholarships
available for students including those who are entering high-demand
fields, experiencing financial need, high achieving learners, and
for those who are the first member of their family to attend
college.
