Obituary
Abraham F. Anderson Sr., 84, passed
away at 1:15 a.m. on April 13, 2018 at St. Clara’s
Manor in Lincoln.
Abraham was born on February 12, 1934 in Middletown,
son of William and Helen (Rogers) Anderson. He
married Betty L. Brown on May 12, 1953 in
Williamsville. She preceded him death on December
25, 2009.
Surviving Abraham are his children:, Abraham
Anderson Jr. of Middletown, Mike Anderson of
Clinton, Dennis (Judy) Anderson Sr. of Lincoln,
Kevin (Patti) Anderson of Texas, and Lona (Mark)
Mann of Lincoln; two sisters: Mary Etta Rogers of
Westholf, TX and Elsie Tibbs of Middletown; thirteen
grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents, one daughter:
Barbara J. Bergman, one sister: Flora Tibbs, and
four brothers: Bill, Bob, Ben, and Lem Anderson.

Abraham proudly served in the United
States Army. He loved gardening and giving away his
produce. He enjoyed his kids, grandkids, and
great-grandkids. Bud and Betty were the foundation
that kept the family together.
Graveside services for Abraham will be 10:00 a.m.
Friday April 20, 2018 at Richmond Grove Cemetery in
New Holland, with Ryan Edgecombe officiating and
where full military rites will be accorded by the
Middletown American Legion Post # 672.
Memorials may be made in Abraham’s name to the
Parkinson’s Foundation.
